Forming the next generation of
interdisciplinary leaders in medicine
around the world.
Who We Are
Founded by Harvard students in 2020, the World Pre-Health Conference (WPC) is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing pre-professional development and inspiration to pre-health students around the world.
Since our founding, WPC has hosted three annual conferences bringing over 3500 registrants from 100+ countries to listen to keynote speakers such as the Director of the NIH, the CEO of the Peace Corps, and the Editor-in-Chief of the New England Journal of Medicine and participate in suturing workshops, public health hackathons, and medical illustration classes.
Each year, our annual event dismisses the traditional keynote forum that many medical conferences adopt, choosing instead to bring pre-professional development events spanning clinical medicine, consulting, public health, bioethics, and biotechnology. We strive for all attendees to leave WPC with a new passion and a multifaceted approach to medicine.
